MEMBERS ONLY: Master Demonstration: Warrick Palmeteer

A$60.00

Studio P are delighted to welcome renowned local potter Warrick Palmateer for an afternoon demonstration.

During the session, Warrick will demonstrate his remarkable skill in wheel throwing and participants will have the opportunity to ask one on one questions about advanced throwing techniques.

Artist bio:

Warrick has dedicated more than four decades to working with clay in the capacity as individual artist, collaborative artist, art manager and art teacher.

Channelling his deep connection to the coastal landscape into his ceramic vessels, Warrick's art reflects the rugged and delicate beauty of the Indian Ocean and Southwest Australian coastline. Influenced by his WA upbringing, Warrick's work captures the interplay of light, shade and movement inherent in the littoral zone.

In addition to his own art practice, Warrick has worked collaboratively with Pippin Drysdale for over thirty five years, throwing her minimalist fine porcelain vessels that have been purchased for both public and private national and international ceramic collections.
